Oh my goodness, I had spoke to Fletcher on the phone in August. He and his family were very close over the years to my family. Fletcher was my Dad's (Art Reid) best friend forever!! Our deepest sympathy goes out to your family from ours.

Lucia, my Cousin Terri Smith says hello and is so sorry to hear about your brother. She sends her love.

Lucia,
Please give me a call when you get a chance at 360-770-5221. Note: (We lost our dad, Art, 2 years ago...). I am so glad Fletcher came to see him, before he passed.

Again, Fletcher will always be in our thoughts and as well, to your family. Fletcher has been a very lifelong childhood friend to me & our family. Never to be forgotten!!

My deepest condolences to Fletcher´s family. I worked with Fletch at Boeing, what an amazing, kind, huge hearted, and patient man. He took me under his wing when I hired in 25 years ago and helped in teaching me the ropes as a Boeing driver. I´m so glad I was able to talk to you just recently. You will always be in my thoughts and I will never forget you my friend. Go rest in piece now my dear.

Having met Fletcher in high school we would run into each other and talk about the usual teenage events. Not until our five decades of reunions did we really get to visit how our jobs and lives were changing. I will cherish the conversation on our 50th gathering. RIP my friend.

What a friendly warm spirit. I remember he joined the reunion comittee to support me, the only male at the time. He had a great "awe shucks" kind of personality that is rare these days.
You will be missed.

Dear Lucia and Beret, I am so very sorry to hear that Fletcher has passed away.
I grew up in West Seattle going to the same schools and my mother and father were friends with your parents Carmen and Terry.
I reconnected with Fletcher during one of the many West Seattle High School `All school Reunions´ and looked forward to seeing him every year. He occasionally attended events at the Log House Museum, which was my childhood home 1958-73, and where he (and your parents) knew well.
My wife also knew Fletcher from Madison, where he sat behind her in class- alphabetically- Allman, Barnes, etc. Many memories.
Our deepest condolences.
