Flora Coley Obituary
Private Graveside Services were held Thursday Afternoon, March 12, 2026 at Silver Road Baptist Church Cemetery in Oakboro. Rev. Gene Hopkins officiated.
Flora was born February 26, 1942 in Stanly county to the late Charlie Lee Helms Sr. and Minnie Robertson Helms Morgan. She was a retiree of Wiscasset Mills.
She is survived by her children, Melody Coley Huneycutt, Frankie Gale Coley and Jeffrey Gene Coley. Brothers and sisters, Charlie Lee Helms, Joe Helms, Faye Hartsell, Hilda Taylor. Seven grandchildren and Two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorietta Coley Leigh and brother, Leonard Wayne Helms and sister Helen Smith.
