Flora C. Collazo

We celebrate the life of Flora C. Collazo (née Crespo), who graced this earth for 95 years and passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2025.

She was the dearest and devoted wife of Amado Collazo for 66 years, until his passing in September 2018. Loving mother of Sonja (Miguel) Gonzalez and the late Luis (late Vicki) Negron. Cherished grandmother/Wela of Leo (Jessica), Vincente, and Marina, and adored great-grandmother/Ah of Leo and Ziamara. Flora will be lovingly missed by her sister-in-law, Candi Collazo Baez. She was preceded in death by her parents, Balbino and Juana Crespo, and by her sister. She leaves behind nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear family friends who will forever hold her memory close.

Flora's grace, enthusiasm, love of life, and unconditional devotion to her family will continue to inspire everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. To know her was to love her. She will be deeply missed, always loved, and forever remembered. We thank everyone who loved her, visited her, prayed for her, or cared for her throughout her long and beautiful life. May her memory be a blessing, and may her light continue to guide us.

Visitation: Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th Street just west of Harlem).

Additional Visitation & Prayers: Friday at the funeral home from 8:30 AM until Prayers at 9:00 AM.

Funeral Mass: 10:00 AM at St. Cletus Church.

Interment: Flora will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery, beside her beloved husband, Amado.

Celebramos la vida de Flora C. Collazo (née Crespo), quien bendijo este mundo durante 95 años y partió el martes, 2 de diciembre de 2025.

Fue la querida y devota esposa de Amado Collazo durante 66 años, hasta su fallecimiento en septiembre de 2018. Amorosa madre de Sonja (Miguel) Gonzalez y del fallecido Luis († Vicki) Negron.

Dedicada abuela/Wela de Leo (Jessica), Vincente y Marina, y adorada bisabuela/Ah de Leo y Ziamara. Flora será recordada con profundo cariño por su cuñada, Candi Collazo Baez. Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres, Balbino y Juana Crespo, y su hermana. Deja atrás a sobrinos, sobrinas, familia extendida y muchos queridos amigos de la familia que siempre llevarán su memoria en el corazón.

La gracia de Flora, su entusiasmo, su alegría por la vida y su amor incondicional hacia su familia seguirán inspirando a todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerla. Quien la conoció, la quiso. Será profundamente extrañada, siempre amada y eternamente recordada. Agradecemos a todos los que la amaron, la visitaron, oraron por ella o la cuidaron a lo largo de su larga y hermosa vida. Que su memoria sea una bendición, y que su luz continúe guiándonos.

Velorio: Jueves, 11 de diciembre de 2025, de 4 PM a 8 PM en Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave. (55th Street justo al oeste de Harlem).

Visita adicional y Oraciones: Viernes, desde las 8:30 AM hasta las Oraciones a las 9:00 AM en la misma funeraria.

Misa Funeral: 10:00 AM en St. Cletus Church.

Sepultura: Flora descansará en Resurrection Cemetery, junto a su amado esposo, Amado.
