Flora Pelick Obituary
Flora Eulane Pelick was born in Jacksonville, Florida on August 3, 1941 to Ivy Mitchell and Lois Eulane Summerlin. She had always dreamed of becoming a beach bum but was never able to draw herself away from her ever growing backyard garden, long enough to become one. She enjoyed old southern gospel music, arts and crafts, collecting Gone with the Wind memorabilia and creating a welcoming home. Most of all she loved her family, never being more than a phone call away and always ready to feed you when you stopped by for a visit.
Preceded in death by her Parents, Ivy and Lois Summerlin, Her husband, John Pelick, Her brother Glenn Summerlin, and most recently, her daughter Donna Wheeler.
Survived by her two sons, Gregory and Robert McClung, and her Sister Dora Dellama Brown and Brother William (Dubby) Summerlin. She also leaves behind six grandchildren and twenty Great-Grandchildren.
A visitation for Flora will be held Friday, May 6, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will occur Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home.
