Flora Rowe Obituary
Flora Mae Rowe passed away peacefully in her sleep 11/14/2022 at 92 years old of natural causes. Born to Charles and Ruth VanWhy on 11/09/1930 in Pierce, Colorado. Preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Rex L. Rowe (10/01/2018).
Flora worked many years at VanWhy and Sons Inc. before marrying Rex and moving to Minneapolis, MN. When Rex retired from Massey Ferguson, they moved back home to Fort Collins, Colorado.
Flora was also preceded in death by her sisters Dorothy (Cliff) Shaw, Midge (Joy) Fox, Louise (Rollo) Jennings, and her brother Raymond (Ruth) VanWhy; her daughter-in-law, Billie Jean Wickstrom; and grandchild, Brenda Tucker.
She is survived by her children; Robb Wickstrom of Evans, CO, Laurie (Kenny) Dill of Pierce, CO, and Mary (Jeremiah) Larson of South Haven, MN; grandchildren, Craig (Monica) Wickstrom, Kevin (Linda) Dill, Kristin (Bret) Meuli; stepsons, Richard (Jeanie) Rowe of Oregon, and Keith (Donna) Rowe of Kansas; as well as many nieces and nephews, great-great grandkids, and cousins.
A special thank you to the Meadowview caregivers, Bristol Hospice, and to Laurie Dill for all her love and care for mom in the last few years of her life.
