Born: February 9, 1931
Died: August 23, 2025
Florence "Flo" Ann Ball, 94, late of Plainfield, formerly of Frankfort, IL.
Beloved wife of the late John "Jack" Ball. Loving mother of the late Larry Ball, Sharon (Richard) Mikula, and Cindy (Michael) Fuchs. Cherished grandmother of Dawn Jost, Kevin (Katelyn) Fuchs, Tania (Jordan) Kneynsberg, Kayla (Gavin) Wright, and Bridget (Raymond) Craig. Proud great-grandmother of Kendall Jost, Ryan Jost, Kenton Fuchs, Kolton Fuchs, Klayton Fuchs, Gwendolyn Kneynsberg, Kiernan Kneynsberg, Livia Kneynsberg, Roland Kneynsberg, Wesley Wright, Skyler Craig, and Bailey Craig. Dear sister of Wilma Vandermark. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Carrie Schudlt, and siblings Charles Jr., Shirley Koester, Joann McLemore, and Roger Schudlt.
Flo and Jack were longtime and loyal members of the Good Sam Club – Lincolnway Sams, where they enjoyed many years camping and traveling in their RV. A resident of Frankfort for over 50 years, Flo treasured her community and friendships. In her later years, she found joy at Lakewood Nursing Home, where she shared a special friendship with Lydia and actively participated in bingo and other activities that brought her great happiness.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 4, 2025, from 9:30 AM until time of Chapel Service at 12:00 Noon at Vandenberg Funeral Home, 19604 Wolf Road, Mokena, IL 60448. Interment will follow privately at Skyline Memorial Park, Monee, IL.
