Florence Bedgood Obituary
Mrs. Florence Daniels Bedgood, 88, of Swainsboro passed away Monday, September 1, 2025, at her residence. She was born in Swainsboro on May 1, 1937, to the late John William Daniels and Cachineal Rich Daniels.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charlie “CJ” Bedgood, Jr.; brothers, Herman Daniels, Alvin Daniels, John William Daniels, Robert Daniels, James Daniels; sisters, Gaynell Price, Nina Brown; grandson, Benton Canady.
Mrs. Bedgood is survived by her children, Barbara (Ricky) Ely, David (Angie) Bedgood, Regina (Larry) Canady; grandchildren, Ricky (Malia) Ely, April (Vince) Scott, Adam (Caitlin) Ely, Mac (Caroline) Canady, Cory Canady, Josh (Andrea) Bedgood, West (Lauren) Bedgood; great-grandchildren, Colby (Tara) Scott, Jaycee (Schuyler) Johnson, Emily (Logan) Gay, Ace Ely, Kaleigh (Lane) Allen, Michael Wilson, Maddie Ely, Zada Ely, Bristol Ely, Layla Ely, Harper Canady, Elias Bedgood, CJ Bedgood, Easton Bedgood, Josh Bedgood, Jaxson Bedgood, Ethan Bedgood, Timothy Bedgood, Hudson Bedgood, Kayla Crabb, Rhett Crabb; great-great grandchildren, Hunter Wilson, Broxton Ely, Landry Allen; sister, Bonette Marks; several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, September 5, 2025, in the chapel of Chapman Funeral Home with Rev. Jonathan Shepard officiating and assisted by Rev. Joe Bedgood.
Interment will follow at Swainsboro City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Colby Scott, Ace Ely, Michael Wilson, Elias Bedgood, C.J. Bedgood and Easton Bedgood.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Josh Bedgood, Jaxson Bedgood, Rhett Crabb, and Ethan Bedgood.
