Florence Clarke Obituary
Florence was born in Cadiz, Kentucky and later lived in Washington D.C. She was of Baptist faith and was a member of Central Baptist Church of Fountain City. Florence had a bachelor's degree in education and enjoyed her career as a schoolteacher.
She is preceded in death by her parents, William Ray McNeill and Alice Elizabeth Magraw McNeill.
Florence is survived by husband, William B. Clarke; daughters, Lisa Bengel (Paul) and Lori Ford (Gary Wright); grandchildren, Paul C. Bengel, Rebecca Garner, Elise Garrett, Candace Hutson, Brenden Ford, Andrew Ford, and Elizabeth Ford; great-grandchildren, Judah and Levi Bengel, Addison, Morgan, Eleanor Garner, Aria, Brayden & Carter Garrett, Russell Hutson, Zola Ford, Sadie Faulkner.
The family will receive friends from 11:00am-1:00pm on Friday, February 6, 2026, at Rose Funeral and Cremation – Broadway. A service will follow at 1:00pm with Rev. Ronald Mouser officiating and musical selections by Bob Robinson. Family and friends will gather at Lynnhurst Cemetery for a 3:00pm interment service.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Central Baptist Church of Fountain City (https://cbcfc.org/give-2/).
