Florence (Conley) Dulin
CLAYTON - Florence (Conley) Dulin went home to be with the Lord on Friday, August 6, 2021. After a long illness, she passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family.
Florence was born on April 16, 1938 in Millington, Maryland, daughter of the late Wesley and Hazel Conley. Before retiring, she worked for many years as a Secretary and Substitute Caller for the Smyrna School District. She was an active member of Downs Chapel Church and Ladies Aide.
Florence's greatest joy was spending time with her husband, children, grandchildren and family. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to all who knew her.
In addition to her parents; Florence was preceded in death by her sisters, Jean Dulin Wothers and Jane Dunning.
Florence is survived by her beloved husband of 64 years, Donald Dulin Sr.; her son, Donald Dulin Jr.; her daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and Andy Cherriman; her brother and sister-in-law, Wesley and Pat Conley, all of Clayton; three grandchildren, Deanna Custodi (Gino), Donnie Dulin III, Amber Howton (Zach); four great-grandchildren, Derek Dulin, MaCayla Custodi, Anthony Custodi, and Abby Howton.
Visitation will be held for family and friends on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Faries Funeral Home, located at 29 South Main Street, Smyrna, Delaware. A memorial service will begin at 6 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations be made to Downs Chapel Church, c/o Sharon Lockwood, 1200 Everett Rd., Marydel, MD 21649.
