Florence S. Dunst, 87, of Elizabeth Township passed away Sunday, October 5, 2025. She was born in Pittsburgh on July 28, 1938 to the late Meyer and Jeraldine (Wolfe) Silberman. Flo obtained a Bachelors of Education and worked her entire career for the South Allegheny School District. She was very involved with St. Patrick's Church, enjoyed crafting, but most importantly, spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Philip J. Dunst; her son, Michael J. (Paula) Dunst of Reynoldsburg, OH., her daughter, Joan (Vince) Papp of North Huntingdon; grandchildren, Joshua, Nicole (Dan), Jonathan, Joseph, Molly, Daniel, and Samuel; as well as a great-granddaughter, Sophia; two sisters, Myrna Stein and Doris (Richard) Miller; her daughter-in-law, Denise Dunst; and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Flo is preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Silberman; and by her son, Philip J. Dunst, Jr. Friends are welcome Friday, October 10, 2025 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J. Gilbert, director. Funeral Mass will take place Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 10:00 am at the Mary, Mother of God Parish - St. Patrick's Church with Fr. Vincent Velas.
