Florence Fredenberg

Florence "Flo" E. Fredenberg, age 80, of Wisconsin Rapids, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 29, 2025, at home, surrounded by her loving family.
A celebration of life will be held at Ponderosa Pines campground on Saturday, September 27th, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Florence was born on December 9, 1944, in Nekoosa, Wisconsin, to Melford and Dorothy Streeter. She graduated from Nekoosa High School and later married Harold Fredenberg on June 17, 2005. They celebrated 16 years of marriage until his passing on June 20, 2021.
Flo worked at McCain Foods as a general laborer from 1982 until her retirement in 2022.
Flo treasured time spent with her family and shared a love of adventure with Harold, traveling together across the United States. She especially cherished their permanent campsite at Ponderosa Pines, where they built lasting friendships and created countless memories. In quieter moments, Flo found joy in listening to the music of Elvis Presley.
Florence is survived by her children: Larry Meddaugh Jr, Donna Schiller (Roger Erickson), and Blair (Angel) Meddaugh; grandchildren: Jennifer (Mike) Duchrow, Phillip (Audrey) Schiller, Garret Schiller (Chelsea), John E (Ashley) Butler, Alex (Lily) Meddaugh, and Jennifer (Ronny) Grunberg; great-grandchildren: Nathan, Allison, Ethan, Evan, Bella, Locke, AJ, Terence, and Elaine; siblings: Evie Lumby and Millie (Bob) Musch; special nieces: Kathy Hanson-Keach, Debbie Hanson-Kinney, and is further survived by other extend family members.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold; parents, Melford and Dorothy; sisters: Elaine, Delores, and Shirley; brothers: Harlan and Orville; son Kip Edward; and great-grandson John Edward Butler IV.
Flo was deeply grateful to her granddaughter, Jennifer Duchrow, and her family for their loving care and the cherished time they spent with her during her illness. The family would also like to thank Heartland Hospice for the care that she received.
