Florence Melia Mockchew, 77 of Holualoa, Hawaii, died November 20, 2025 at Hospice of Kona Nakamaru Hale. Born on August 22, 1948 in Kalaoa , Hawaii. She retired as a Housekeeper at the Royal Kona Resort, worked also for Kona Village and Kanaloa Resort. She was a member of Mauna Ziona Congregational Church and a member of the Kona Horseshoe Pitchers Club.

Visitation will be held at 8:30am, Services will begin at 10:00am on January 17, 2026 at The Honaunau Rodeo Arena . The Family Requests Casual Attire.

She is Survived by her Daughter: Colette (Ikaika ) Dumaguin, Sons: Leonard (Shirlence) Mockchew Rudy (Nola) Mockchew; brothers,Karin (Pat) Haleamau, Solomon (Patsy) Haleamau, David (Marlene) Haleamau; sister, Lani (Charles) Howard; goddaughter: Bernadette(Kaleo)Haleamau-Kualii; hanai son: Alden (Cheryl) Fukumitsu; hanai daughter: Malia Lindsey; grandchildren, Leialoha (Mark) Benjamin, Kilihea Mockchew,
Kealoha Mockchew, Makai Mockchew, Owen Mockchew; numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband, Rudy Mockchew.
