I loved her "little girl" ways and as I have written -during exercise when she dropped into her chair she said, "I've landed! Ya gotta love it!

There's barely a time that goes by when I drive out of Gorge Road and see Florida Ave. across from me that I don't remember Florence. Her sweet smile always warmed my heart even during our "strenuous" exercise at the Senior Center!

I'll never forget Florence plopping down in the chair next to me at the Winooski Senior Center exercise group saying "I've landed!" It always made me laugh! She was special and will continue to be in my heart.

Florence exercised beside me for years at the Winooski Senior Center and even at age 94 she could still manage the elbow to knee move when I couldn't! When she sat down after a standing exercise she would say "I've landed!" A lady I will never forget! Marcia Sumner

My two sons and I graduated from St. Michael's and while at school always found a warm and cozy home in hers. We all loved to visit with her and Mr. Saucier, speak with them and listen to him play the violin. Florence was truly a remarkable person, and we all miss her very much. Will keep her in our prayers.

Ann Myers

John, Karen and family,
My family moved next door to Florence and Prof in 1958. We grew to love them like family. Florence was such a gentle and loving lady. She was kind, generous and compassionate. I loved her dearly, as did my entire family. My two sons thought the world of her. She will be missed.
With love, Ann (Courcy) Myers
