Florence Sinisi

Florence Sinisi, age 94 of Bayville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family, Sunday December 14, 2025.
Born and raised in Belleville, she lived in Bloomfield and Cedar Grove before moving to Bayville 30 years ago. Florence worked at Tung-Sol in Bloomfield, a marketing company in Fairfield, and later worked in the antique community.
Florence was an avid bowler known not only for her skill, but for the many awards and accolades whether on the lanes or cheering on her friends. Bowling brought her joy, camaraderie, and more than a few well-earned bragging rights. She also had a deep love for antiques, antique dolls and especially the Victorian era. Florence had a keen eye for hidden treasures. She was a wonderful cook, always happiest when she was feeding the people she loved. Her kitchen was a place of comfort, conversation and meals that nobody could truly duplicate. Florence was an avid NY Yankee fan faithfully following the team and never missing a chance to root for her beloved Yankees. Florence dressed impeccably, always coordinating her outfits beautifully. She was a member of the Senior Women's Club of Beachwood, and The Berkeley Ladies Seniors. Florence enjoyed playing PO-KE-NO with her friends where she was a stickler for the PO-KE-NO rules. Florence enjoyed going on trips to Atlantic City with her fellow club members and family. She participated in the SOLAS group at Bright Harbor Healthcare. Above all Florence cherished her family and friends. She was a devoted wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Florence was predeceased by her husband Samuel Sinisi in 2012. Surviving are her daughter Diane Sinisi-Kemash and husband Gerald; son Michael Sinisi and his wife Diane Marie. Also surviving are three grandchildren, Tara Jones and husband Steven, Maegan Sinisi, and Christopher Sinisi, two great grandchildren Luke and Sabrina Jones.
Visitation will be Friday December 26, 2025, from 3-7 PM and Saturday December 27, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with religious services at 11:00 AM at Carmona-Bolen Home for Funerals 412 Main Street, Toms River, NJ 08753. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery in Toms River. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent in Florence's name to Care Giver Volunteers of Central Jersey.
