Florence Natalia Stepetin

Florence Natalia Stepetin, 85, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on March 4th, 2023.
She was born on September 8, 1937 in Unalaska, Alaska to Simeon & Okalena Lekanoff then later adopted by John & Doris Krukoff of St. Paul Island, Alaska.
On November 5th, 1961 she married her first husband Andre Rukovishnikoff. Widowed at a young age, she married her second husband Vasilli Stepetin on November 17th, 1967. She was a loving mother to 8 children; Daria, Mark, Andrew, John, Ifrosenia (passed), Michael, Mary and Marva.
Florence was a dedicated Community Health Aid at the St. Paul Island Health Clinic and a member of the St. Peter and Paul Orthodox Church.
She loved to travel, laugh and tell jokes. Most of all she loved time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren who will miss her very much.
Services will be held for the newly departed handmaiden of God Natalia on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at the St. Innocent Cathedral in Anchorage, Alaska. Visitation will be at 10:00AM followed by a service at 11:00AM. Burial will be at 1:00PM at the Anchorage Memorial Park Cemetery followed by a Tea Party at 3:00PM at the Coast International Inn.
