Florival Archibeque left this life after a long-term illness and went to his reward 6 July 2024. He is preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Piedad Montoya Archibeque, granddaughter Donna, his parents, one brother, and one sister. He is survived by his four children, Lillian, Anthony, Robert, and Loretta. In addition to four grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, including two brothers and four sisters.

Florival was born in Yrsirri, New Mexico. Served his country doing Reconnaissance as a Marine during the Korean war. He worked hard his entire life and was a man of many talents. With no formal education, he taught himself how to work on cars, built an addition to his home, room, garage, porch and pitched roof, plumbing among countless other things. He had a passion to learn and always wanted to leave the world a better place. This was evident in the way he always tried to share his own knowledge and teach us the value of family and protecting the world around us.

He was known to his family and friends by Flor or Archi and was loved by all that knew him. Flor was always ready to lend a hand, sacrificing what little time he had to help not only family and friends but complete strangers. He believed God put us on this earth we should at least try to take care of each other. He had a deep love of family and enjoyed the time he spent with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. His life was not easy, but he always was quick with a joke. He is loved and will truly be missed.
