Floyd Conn Obituary
Born May 13, 1939, in Rowan County, he was a son of the late John Curtis Conn and Ruby Skaggs Conn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Joyce Lea "Sally" Reynolds Conn, on January 25, 2017.
Floyd is survived by two sons, James Edward (Mona Annette) Conn and John Davis (Missy) Conn; one daughter, Francis Whitt of Morehead; and one brother, Curtis Ray Conn, all of Morehead. He also leaves behind a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and many friends.
Floyd was a retired heavy equipment operator for Hinkle Construction. He enjoyed farming and spending time with his family and friends. In his younger years, he especially loved going coon hunting. Floyd will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with Brother Victor Mabry officiating. Burial will follow in Conn Cemetery.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, January 2, 2026, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals, 400 Fraley Drive, Morehead, KY 40351.
