Floyd Leman Ford

Funeral services for Floyd Leman Ford will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 4, 2025, at Gandy Baptist Church with Reverends Buddy Airhart and Chad Ford officiating. The burial will follow in Toro Cemetery under the direction of Jeane's Funeral Service. Serving as pallbearers will be Christian Howard, Camden Howard, Cade Howard, Christopher Robertson, Chad Ford, and Rusty Ford. The honorary pallbearers will be Bubba Ford, Barron Hansen, Ryan Engelhardt, Joseph Engelhardt, and Austin Engelhardt. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Gandy Baptist Church from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Floyd was born July 29, 1959, in Zwolle, Louisiana and passed away November 30, 2025, at his home in Hornbeck, Louisiana at the age of 66. Before retirement, he worked for many years as a supervisor at a chemical plant. When he lived in Houston, Floyd enjoyed playing golf. Being outdoors hunting and occasionally fishing were some of his favorite hobbies. The simple things in life like spending time with his family brought him joy. He loved his grandchildren and great-grandchildren equally and always looked forward to their visits. Floyd was preceded in death by his parents, Thurman Harold Ford and Lelia Erwin Ford and brothers, Harold Ford and David Ford. Those left to cherish his memory are his sons, Floyd Kelsey Ford of Fort Walton Beach, FL and Rodger Calvin Little III (Thiy) of Lake Jackson, TX; daughters, Amanda Leann Howard of Zwolle, LA and Debra Ann Collins (Ron) of Rio Vista, TX; twelve grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren; twin brother, Lloyd Neaman Ford (Donna) of Many, LA; and a host of extended family members and friends.
