Floyd Richard "Rick" Hardy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, at 10:17 a.m. He is survived by his five children: Scott, Paul, Matt, Jonathan, and Andrea; his brothers, Gary and Brad; 15 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.
Rick was an entrepreneur who built and operated a successful lawn-planting business. He was known for his strong work ethic, his independence, and the pride he took in doing things the right way. He enjoyed tinkering with bicycles and always had a curiosity for new electronic gadgets. Above all, he was proud of his family and loved his children deeply.
