Thinking of you all and this man whose life we celebrate. Whenever Richard and my father found themselves in the same room they would get together to catch up and share WWII memories. They served in the Army Air Corps on Guam at the same time; my Dad working to supply the planes that Rich flew. Lives so well lived. Hildegard Pleva

I had the pleasure of meeting Richard a few months ago, he was a pleasure to be around. We talked quite a bit and I got to know him on a personal level. He was not only a war hero but a great man. I will miss our talks. John levandoski
