Psalm 90:10 says that the days of our years are 70 years, And if because of special mightiness they are 80 years.
May the memories of the wonderful times you shared together bring a smile and joy in your heart.

Floyd was a dear friend, colleague, and hunting partner in my 24 years in Alaska and in the years after we both moved to the lower 48. We spent many hours together talking about politics, education, and hunting and enjoying wine and spirits over pleasant conversation. He was a mentor introducing me to hunting, trapping, and cross-country skiing. We enjoyed many evenings by the campfire in Montana on elk hunts after I retired and moved to Tennessee. He had one of the most detailed memories I've ever known regarding US and world history. We both were active and worked together on education issues with our local teacher's association. He took me with his family on a fishing trip to the Yukon and into his home for holiday meals and when I was injured in an automobile accident. We helped each other build our log houses in Alaska. I have many wonderful memories to celebrate his life. My condolences to all his family.

Please accept my dearest and heartfelt sympathy; I am so sorry for your loss. May the God who "binds up the brokenhearted" and "comforts all who mourn" sustain your family during this difficult time. Isaiah 61:1,2
