Floyd Seifert Obituary
Floyd Seifert, age 77, of Cottage Grove, formerly of St. Paul, passed away peacefully on April 26, 2025.
Floyd Fred Seifert was born on June 23, 1947, in St. Paul, MN to Fred and Muriel Seifert. He graduated from Alexander Ramsey High School in 1965. Floyd was united in marriage to Gretchen Elizabeth Olson in Watertown, South Dakota on April 7, 1973. He was employed as a school bus driver for Roseville Area School District until he retired.
Floyd was a car enthusiast and enjoyed watching NASCAR racing, doing puzzles, and spending time with his family. He was a supportive grandfather that attended his grandchildren’s sporting events.
Floyd is survived by daughter, Stacia (JR) Hansen; grandchildren, Madalyn, Avery, AJ, and Shelby Hansen. He is preceded in death by his wife, Gretchen; and his parents, Fred and Muriel.
Funeral Service 12 PM with visitation beginning at 11 AM, Wednesday, May 7, 2025 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN 55016. Private interment at Oakland Cemetery, Star Prairie, WI.
