Floyd was born on October 25, 1922 and passed away on Friday, April 13, 2018. Floyd was a resident of Swartz Creek, Michigan at the time of passing. He graduated from Linden High School in 1941 and then joined the Army where he served in WWII from 1942-1945. Services will be held 11 AM Tuesday, April 17 at the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church, Dr. Gary Glanville officiating. Interment in Bendle Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12-5 and 7-9 PM Monday, April 16 at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, and 10-11 AM Tuesday April 17 at the church. Those desiring may make contributions to the Swartz Creek United Methodist Church.

I WORKED WITH HIM AT ESPO FOR MANY YEARS AND SHARRON AND I WOULD SEE HIM AT THE CONCERTS IN SWARTZ CREEK. WE GREW UP WITH HIS BROTHER,JIM AND HIS WIFE, ELEANOR. HE WAS A VERY SPECIAL AND FRIENDLY MAN. HE WILL BE MISSED.
