Floyd Terry Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Miller and Miller Funeral Home - Valliant on Jan. 12, 2026.
Floyd Isaac Terry, 87, was born on January 5, 1939, the son of David Floyd Terry and Lorene (Worthey ) Terry. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Michael Lee Terry, William Walter Terry and David Eugene Terry.

Floyd loved to garden, hunt and fish. Fishing was his favorite thing to do by far. The family spent summers camping at the lake and Floyd was chef in charge of the fish fry. He was an artist at heart: painting, drawing, playing guitar. He also hand made beautiful knives and built guns from near scratch with hand hewn and oil rubbed stocks. That knowledge was passed on to his children who continue in his footsteps. Floyd especially loved his family and spending time with them enjoying a good meal and a good laugh. He will be missed and will always be remembered.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Judith Elizabeth Terry of the home; son, Michael Andrew Terry and wife, Kimberly of Valliant, OK; daughters, Elizabeth Rose Terry of Corpus Christi, Texas, Sharon Rember and husband, Rick of Goodland, OK and Laura Hatcher and husband, Richard of Valliant, OK; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, as well as numerous, nieces, nephews, family, friends and loved ones.
