I am so grateful to Forrest for the 81 years of friendship he had with my dad. It was always a special time when the Grimms would come to our house. It's the ONLY time my mom would get out the special "chip and dip" bowls so you knew it had to be special. As a child, I never heard my parents laugh so hard as when they played 500 with Fory and Dorothy, the girls vs. the boys. The object of the game wasn't so much to win as to "set" the other team. If they could do that, they'd just howl with laughter. I always had a great time chasing around with Pam and Roger too. These are truly fond memories. Fory will be sadly missed but hopefully it helps to know what a positive impact he had on people. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Dorothy and family,
Orlin and I extend our deepest sympathy. We reflected on the memories of the times we had together. Like the trip to Mass. and finally finding the Lobster House in Boston. (Orlin and Forrest had a meeting in western Mass.) I remember your faithful visits to your mothers and aunt in the nursing home (Golden Valley Nursing Home and I believe the other was named St. Croix where your dorothy's mother was in residence.) God bless you and surround you with his love to help you in the dark times. Enjoy the memories.

I worked with Forrest on several projects while I was at 3M. We used to have many good in-depth discussions. He was a good man of God. He will be missed.
