My son SSG Taylor Mitchell was one of 9 that perished in this horrible accident. I wish that everyone could know what a tremendous person and soldier he was. He truly loved serving this country. We are such proud parents. Praying for the families of his peers Taylor was a wonderful husband, son, grandson, brother and Uncle. Always the happy young man. He was my absolute heart. Rest easy my soldier. Hayli Jo will always be taken care of. We will be together again. Save those Tootie hugs for your Mama. Salute to you, son.

It is heartbreaking to learn of the deaths of these brave dedicated members of our US Army. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all those who have volunteered to go into harm's way to defend freedom and protect our way of life. May they rest in peace and may their fiamilies have comfort and healing for their loss.
