Fradell and I were DJ's at the same radio station in the 1980's. I'll always remember him. He was a very kind and loving man. Very devoted, and always wanted to help others. He was one of the good guys.

To the family, may you be comforted during this difficult time of sorrow and pain.

Our sincere blessings and sadness to the Amerson Family. Bro. Fradell was a joy and loving support of Church Of The Firstborn Ministries in our Heritage of the Lord radio ministry for many years. I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Bro. A. However, I am praying for your strength and encourage you (the family) as he has encouraged so many of us to "look to the Lord" Ruby (5) N. Burton and the Burton, Owens, Bunton & King Families.

You were Brother A. my grandmother's favorite gospel DJ and she loved you and your music. You were an inspiration to all people young and old, black and white. I don't have the words to tell you how much your music meant to my grandmother and how much she enjoyed it. I read the news this morning and I found out you were gone and it is with a sad heart that I write these words. Rest In Peace Fradell Amerson Sr. "Brother A." May God give you eternal rest and peace. many blessings to the family of brother A, we sang together on radio, he played all of my albums, Every time i was in tuscaloosa, i would look him up. The hutchins family introduced us, and we were friends ever since. Bro. A. you will be miss.

To family of my friend Bro. Fradell Amerson, Sr.,

Brother "A" as he was affectionately called was a giant among men. The gift God gave him as a radio personality was beyond measure. The way he could lift anyone's burden was a unique, regardless of what your day might have been, after listening to his radio broadcast the problem who may have had will soon be forgotten. I remember years ago when I was on the air as a representative for the "Tuscaloosa Ministerial Alliance" during the Alliance broadcast. I had left a sermon entitled "The Balm in Gilead" (Jeremiah 8:22). When there was no sermon left to play at other times Bro. A. would play that sermon as often as he could. Of course I knew there were other sermons he could have played. But he would often play that one! Thats the kind of brother he was. He was indeed a TRUE friend, and he is greatly missed. My family and I offer our deepest condolences RIP my brother.

According to Fradell, "God knows when enough is enough", therefore we give God the praise and extend our deepest condolence to the Amerson family with love and prayers in your time of bereavement. Our dear friend will be truly missed!
