Evans, GA – Entered into rest on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, Mrs. Frances F. Anderson, wife of 40 years to the late Hubert E. Anderson. Family members include son: Michael L. Adams (Joanie), daughter: Angie A. Griffin (Alan), stepson: Ernest Anderson (June), stepdaughter: Linda Cason (Roy), Grandchildren: Lacey Jenkins (Ashley), Carley Adams, Wesley Adams, Andrea Bird (Patrick), Alex Griffin (Brooke), Larry Anderson (Holly), Shari Fountain (Hal), Tonya Loftis (Dwayne), Ed Cason (Marilyn), Jayden Stone and Kaylee Roberts (Dylan), step grandson: Matt Lindsey and her sister, Patricia Wilmot. In addition, Mrs. Anderson had sixteen (16) great grandchildren, seven (7) great-great grandchildren and numerous nephews and nieces and her faithful companion “Baxter”.
Mrs. Anderson was predeceased by her parents, Howard and Vera Farmer, and her siblings: Vivian Chassereau, Elsie Huffman, Bobby Farmer and Jack Farmer.
Frances and Hubert worked together in the real estate development business in the Augusta, Martinez and Evans area. They were members of the Martinez Merchants Association for many years. Frances and Hubert were founding members of West Acres Baptist Church in Evans. Frances worked in finance for over 25 years for Civil Service at Fort Gordon. She was a member of American Business Women’s Association (ABWA).
The family would like to thank the caregivers who were faithful in caring for Mrs. Anderson: Joan Augustine, Yvette Green, Selena Booker, Debbie Mansell, Glenda Jackson and Amanda Bradford.
The funeral service will be held at West Acres Baptist Church located 555 Gibbs Road, Evans, GA 30809 on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at 1:00 pm with Pastor Larry Harmon and Pastor Malone Morris officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Mrs. Anderson will be interred at Westover Memorial Park alongside her beloved Hubert. Pallbearers will be Larry Anderson, Josh Anderson, Zach Anderson, Wesley Adams, Alex Griffin, and Jayden Stone.
