Buddy Shearin

Samuel “Buddy” Spivey Shearin Jr., 89, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, August 8, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Sadie Shearin; sister Necia Dickens; and granddaughter Kasie Cline. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Virginia Shearin; daughters, Gloria Harris (David), Sandra Gizzi, and Toni Cline (Mark); grandchildren, Samuel Beach (Paula), Stacie Beach, Nick Gizzi, Sadie Gizzi Johnson (Jesse), Brian Parsons, T.J. Cline, Mac Cline, Shannon Harris Blanco (Jose), and Tami Harris; and 9 great-grandsons. He was a co-owner and founder of Richmond Sprinkler Corporation. He enjoyed dancing, golfing, and spending time with friends and family. He will be remembered by many as a great role model, husband and father. The family will receive friends from 10 to 11am on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at Morrissett Funeral and Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, (Rt 10) where his funeral service will follow at 11am. Interment will follow at Dale Memorial Park.
