Bollin, Frances K. (Brown) of Weymouth, passed away on November 5, 2025. She was 92 years old.
Born in Weymouth in 1932, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Gertrude (Gagon) Brown.
Frances's passion for life was matched only by her devotion to her family. As a dedicated stay-at-home mother, she poured her love into her home, creating a sanctuary filled with the mouthwatering aromas of her signature dishes, like her perfectly roasted turkey, the comforting American Chop Suey, and stuffed peppers that were second to none. Her cooking was not just a means to nourish but a way to express her love, gather her family, and create memories that would last a lifetime.
Outside her home, Frances spent years working at the Park View Inn in Norwell, where she was more than an employee; she was a friendly face that brightened the days of those she encountered. Her time at Walmart, prior to retirement, was marked by the same friendly manner and loving nature that made her a beloved figure among both co-workers and customers.
Bingo nights were a particular delight for Frances, where her competitive spirit was always paired with an infectious laugh that could light up a room. Her fondness for cats was evident to all; her feline companions had not just a caretaker but a true friend in Frances, who treated them with the utmost love and care.
Frances Bollin will be deeply missed, not just for the things she did, but for who she was: a passionate, friendly, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend whose legacy of love and joy will continue to live on in the hearts of those she touched. Her life was a testament to the beauty of unwavering love, the strength of family bonds, and the joy found in life's simplest moments. Though she has left this earthly realm, the memories and love she shared will forever be cherished and remembered.
