Frances Amelia Booth, 93, of Madison, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 3rd, 2025, at Cardinal Woods.

She was born on September 9, 1932, in Cleveland, Ohio, to the late Glennis (Martin) and Horace Hiner. Frances graduated from Ashtabula High School and went on to marry Gurn L. Booth on March 21, 1953. Together, they shared many years of happiness until Gurn's passing.

Frances worked for many years at The Illuminating Co., Andover Bank in Madison, Power Plant (First Energy), where she made a lasting impact. After her retirement, Frances kept busy by working at Gander Mountain and J.C. Penney.

In her leisure time, she loved sewing, throwing parties, reading, working on puzzles, and dancing. She was a lively presence at family gatherings and cherished the joy she brought to others through her creativity and kindness.

Frances was preceded in death by her beloved spouse, Gurn L. Booth; her parents, Glennis (Martin) and Horace Hiner; grandparents, John W. Martin and Elizabeth C. (Reed). She is also reunited with her siblings, Howard Hiner, Elizabeth (Betty) Rich, and Carolyn Gallagher.

Frances is survived by her children, Debra (Rick) Kennison, Alan (Cheryl) Booth, Scott Booth, and Rodney (Kim) Booth; her grandchildren, Michelle (Jason) Ehrenberg, Jeremy, Jesse (Janelle) Kennison, Michael Booth, Sara (Dakota) Workman, Stephanie, Samantha, and Renee Booth; great-grandchildren, Andrew, Brandon, Cara, Deanna Ehrenberg, Jackson, Sienna, and Elias Kennison, Abel, Oaklee Blitz, Tanis Fields, Gracie, Harmony Scaggs; sister, Charlene (Ray) Brunner; and many more who will always remember her love.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, December 7th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 12:00pm, with a funeral service starting at 12:00pm, at Lake Erie Cremation & Funeral Services, 1500 Harpersfield rd, Geneva, OH 44041. A reception will follow the service at Cebars in Madison. She will be laid to rest at Unionville Cemetery-burial will take place at a later date. The family would like to send a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Cardinal Woods and Buckeye Hospice.
