Tom, So sorry for your loss. I had no idea that Aunt Fran had passed. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. She was such a wonderful woman. Grandma and dad always spoke about her. She will surely be missed.

Frances was like a second mother to me. The Carlins were our closest neighbours in Dearborn and calling them friends was a natural fit to our family from Scotland. It was the generosity of this family that allowed me to vacation at their cottage in Ontario where I met my lovely wife Anne. I will always have a place in my heart for the Carlins and particularly for Frances: she will be sorely missed.
