Frances Margaret (Flynn) Casele of Bayville, New Jersey passed away at home on Monday, March 2, 2026, surrounded by her loving family.

Fran was born at home in Bayville on Pleasant Avenue in 1930 to Wilhelmina (Stoldt) Flynn and George Flynn. As a child, Fran and her 7 siblings enjoyed picking huckleberries and ice skating in the cranberry bogs along Mill Creek behind her childhood home. Fran graduated from Toms River High School in 1948 and worked for the Berkeley Township Public Works and the Berkeley Township Police Department.

Fran was a Cub Scout den mother, a member of the Eastern Star, the Berkeley Township Historical Society, as well as the Faith Community Church in Bayville. For several years, Fran wrote for the Asbury Park Press that described all the Bayville happenings.

Fran looked forward to the Flynn Family Reunion, which is held at Dudley Park in Bayville each summer, regularly reminding friends and family that she expected their attendance.

Fran was predeceased in death by her husband of almost 60 years, Lawrence Casele, and daughter Toni Sue. She is survived by her son Lawrence Casele, and her daughter Diane Yee (Richard), 3 grandchildren, Allison Casele, Kimberly Ferrogine (Chris), and Carolyn Rickmers (Ryan), as well as 7 great grandchildren whom she adored.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 3:00-7:00pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ 08721. A Church Service will be held on Thursday, March 12, 2026, at 11:00am at Faith Community Church at 11:00am, 526 Atlantic City Blvd., Bayville, NJ.
