Frances Fortunato Obituary

She graduated from Easton Area High School and earned her nursing degree from St. Luke's Nursing School. She was employed as a nurse for Easton Hospital. Frances was a member of St. Jane Frances de Chantal Catholic Church. She enjoyed archery and ceramics. Time with her family, whether it was taking walks or cooking for them, were her favorite moments.
Frances is survived by her husband of 64 years, James Fortunato; son, James Fortunato and his wife, Anna; daughters, Lauri Heckman and her husband, Eric; Jill Fortunato and her partner, Pam Fatzinger; Lynn Gordon and her husband, Chris; sister, Carol Cope; grandchildren, Taylor Torelli and her husband, Joe, Anthony Gordon, Christopher Gordon, James Fortunato, Justin Fortunato, Jonathan Fortunato, Jennifer Fatzinger, Todd Fatzinger, Jarrid Heckman, Amanda Heckman, Tyler Young, Nicolas Young, Daniella Young; great-grandchildren, Joey Torelli, Sofia Torelli, Lynkan Moore, Ruby Moore, Yari Santiago-Rodriguez, Nisabella Fatzinger-Rodriguez, and Serenity Fatzinger-Rodriguez.
In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by a daughter, Jamie Lynn Fortunato and sister, Rosemarie Casella.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, November 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Morello Funeral Home, Inc., 3720 Nicholas Street, Easton, PA (Palmer Twp.) followed by a funeral service at 12:00 PM. Interment will follow at Northampton Memorial Shrine. Memorial contributions may be made in Frances name to Alzheimer's Association, www.alz.org Online condolences may be offered at www.morellofuneralhome.com
