Frances Carolyn Hall

Frances Carolyn Hall, age 85, of Owosso, MI passed away Thursday, July 29, 2010 at her home. Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Monday, August 2, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. Pastor John Miller will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday July 31, 2010 from 6-8 PM and Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 2-8 PM with family present 2-4 & 6-8 PM at the Funeral Home. Frances was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 25, 1924, the daughter of Frank and Catherine (Stedman) Lorenz. Frances resided most of her life in Owosso. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were a very important part of her life. Frances enjoyed swinging on her swing and was an avid reader and loved to do word searches. Frances had worked at Montgomery Wards, General Telephone, Midwest Abrasive and Memorial Healthcare until last year. She also loved to cook and can. Frances is survived by her son William Hall of Owosso, MI, daughter Kathryn Crooks of Owosso, MI, son Frank Hall of Florida, son R.D. and Judith Hall of Owosso, MI, son Mike and Tina Hall of Owosso, MI, many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and brother Frank and Lillian Lorenz of Owosso, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Lushion William Hall, 4 sisters and 2 brothers. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shiawassee County Council on Aging.
