Frances B. Harley

Frances Carolyn Berry Harley, 102, wife of the late Charles L. Harley, Jr., passed away October 30, 2023.
A native of Greer, South Carolina, daughter of the late Claude O. and Etta Gibson Berry, she was a retired employee for Community Cash Grocery Store and a lifetime member of Greer First Baptist Church. Frances cared for others before herself, was a great cook and prepared weekly Sunday meals for her family. She loved sharing time with her family and playing Scrabble weekly.
Surviving are two daughters, Ginger Lister (Paul) of Greer, South Carolina and Carolyn Sellars (Arthur) of Lyman, South Carolina; three sons, Phillip Harley (Jane) of Lyman, South Carolina, Bobby Harley (Barbara) of Greer, South Carolina, and Jimmy Harley (Crissy) of Greer, South Carolina; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren, and fifteen great great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Harley was predeceased by one son and daughter-in-law, Lonnie Harley and Trudy Harley; two brothers, Alvin Berry and Ernest Berry; two sisters, Callie Shockley and Martha Waddell; and one great great-granddaughter, Rebecca Campbell.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 1, 2023, at Woods Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery conducted by Dr. Doug Mize.
Visitation will be held after the service at the gravesite.
The family will be at the home.
