In memory of
Sam

Fran was the very first person I met at KBW -- the receptionist. It was my first interview at a financial firm, and even just walking in to the elegant lobby was intimidating enough to convince me I wouldn't get the job (I DID get the job). But even then, Fran wasn't at all what I would have expected of a receptionist at a financial firm. I never dealt with her a lot, but I do know that she was valued by the firm and that people were proud of our unconventional receptionist. Unlike many who died that day, she lived a long life, but she still didn't deserve that kind of an end.

Nick and family of Fran - Please accept my deepest sympathy. I am sorry for your loss. I worked with Fran at KBW from 1984 - 1989. I spoke with Fran every day at that time and she was a wonderful person. She truly cared about people. You are in my prayers.

I was in the South Tower on the 104th floor that morning and I have just found out about Fran. I worked with Fran at ACL back in the 70's or 80's. My condolences to the family, she was a nice lady.

I did not know Frances Haros, but I prayed for her family and those she left behind. Her name was amongst two others that I received during a special memorial service Antelope Christian Center had here in Antelope, California on September 11, 2002. We were all asked to pray for the families of the victims, which I readily did. What an honor and a priviledge. May God continue to bless and comfort the families of all the victims.

To my friend Nicholas Haros and the family.
Please allow me to express my deepest sympathy and prayers. I remember meeting your mom many years ago. Sorry to hear of her passing. I heard through my brother Vin who talked to Ron M. that you were not in the Trade Center that day because of a business trip. My sympathies to your many co-workers and their families at Aon. I looked up your name and some others we know and was relieved you were not among the victims. Hang in there Nick. As long as I have known you, you have been a survivor.
Sincerely, your long lost friend

America Cries
We see your sorrow-
and our hearts cry....
We can not erase your pain
but you do not have to face the anguish alone-for we-
-the American people-
are beside you.
We so desperately want to have the touch that brings you comfort,
the strength that gives you courage,
and the words to lighten your spirits.
And when we are left speechless
may the silence of our nation weave love into your hearts
to ease your sorrow.
May you find healing through our nation's strength as we-
-the American people-
face this difficult time together. Our hearts are with you. Teresa Jahn
