Frances S Ingram

Frances Ingram, 85 years of age, passed peacefully on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at her home in Conyers, GA. She was born on October 8, 1936 in Madison, SC to the late James Worth and Mary Smith, who raised 14 children, all preceded her in death except her beloved sister, Faye Chrisley. She graduated high school in SC and moved to Atlanta, GA where she met and married Ray Ingram. They had 2 children and remained married until Ray's death in November 2004. Frances was a member of Avondale Estates First Baptist Church and enjoyed attending services and activities with her church family. She was always working. She retired from DeKalb County government after 30 years and then spent the next 22 years working for Mouth and Foot Artists. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially taking trips to the casinos. She was a genuinely loving caring person. She was always thinking of others first and was always ready with a smile and a home cooked meal. She leaves to cherish her loving memory her children, Denise and Tom Coxe of Conyers, GA; Tim and Miki Ingram of Conyers, GA. Her sister Faye Chrisley of TN, Her sister in laws - Wanda McCurdy and Shirley Parks of Loganville, GA; Her grandchildren, Jody Morrow of TX, Heather Stone of Conyers, GA, Alexandra and Alejandro Peralta of Griffin, GA and Tyler Ingram of Conyers, GA and her great grandchildren, Hayden Parker, McKenzi Kuhns, Ella Morrow, Luke Morrow, and Amaris Peralta. As well as a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations to the American Cancer Society in her honor. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at 3:00PM in the Chapel of A.S. Turner & Sons Funeral Home. Entombment will follow at Melwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2022 from 5:00PM until 8:00PM at the funeral home.
