Frances LaBruzzo Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by North Dallas Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Jul. 17, 2024.
Frances Vincene LaBruzzo
Born in Dallas, TX, on July 24, 1926, to Charles Vincent LaBruzzo and Katherine Madeline Ropollo, Frances went home to the Lord on July 13, 2024. She grew up in Dallas and attended Ursuline Academy, where she developed a deep and unshakeable faith in God.
Upon graduating from Ursuline, Frances went to work with her father at Pittsburgh Plate Glass and eventually began working in retail at the Sanger-Harris department store and its successors. Over the years, Frances has worked in shoes, hosiery, and men's apparel and has always been the top salesperson in her department.
Frances was an active parishioner at St. Pius X in Mesquite. She was a member of the Over 55 Club, Catholic Daughters of the Americas for over 30 years, and volunteered for Catholic Charities.
Frances's love for travel and photography took her all over the United States, Mexico, Europe, and even China. She made her first trip to Italy at 80 years young and returned five years later for Palm Sunday Mass at the Vatican with her great nephew and 500,000 of her closest friends.
Though she never married, Frances is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and beyond.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Catholic Daughters of the Americas Court Mary Immaculate #1719 C/O Cena Lee 10715 Rose Creek Court, Dallas, TX 75238
