Frances P. Maini

Frances P. Maini, 88, of Allentown, passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the Devon House Senior Living in Allentown. Her husband, Louis G. Maini died on December 21, 2021. Born in Coaldale, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Victoria (Gajewski) Porambo. She was a member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Allentown where she was a former volunteer in the library. Frances was a graduate of Sacred Heart Hospital School of Nursing, working as a Registered Nurse for 50 years, beginning her career in local doctors' offices, to an original employee of ASH when it first opened, ending her career from Lehigh Valley Hospital in 2000. Her greatest joy in life was being the active, fun, entertaining, teaching and most beloved Babci to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors: Daughter, Michelle Hontz and her husband, Robert, and their son, Daniel; Daughter-in-Law, Jane Maini, widow of Anthony, and their children, Adam Maini and Ann Payne and her husband, Terry; 2 Great-Grandsons, Caius and Cygnus Payne; Sister, Marie Jaworski; and estranged Son, Louis D. Maini and his daughter, Kristina. She was preceded in death by her Sons, Anthony and Daniel.

Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 11 a.m. Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 1040 Flexer Avenue, Allentown. A viewing will be held on Wednesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. Interment in Calvary Cemetery, Emmaus. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.

Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a Suicide Prevention Organization of your choice, in honor of her son, Anthony.
