Frances Mayfield Obituary
She was born July 25, 1940, in Pickens County, to the late Leonard Jenkins and Arlene Clark Jenkins. She worked as a machine operator for Whitepath Fab Tech and was a loyal member of Harvest Missionary Church. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband, Fred Mayfield and brother, Steve Reece.
Survivors include daughter and son in-law, Trish and Larry Welch, of Ellijay; brother, Junior Reece, of Whitestone; sister, Toretha Barton, of Ellijay; four grandsons, Adam (Alita) Garland, Chase (Hannah) Garland, Dakota (Jennifer) Welch and Isaiah (Hannah) Welch; five great-grandchildren, Levi Garland, Bowie Garland, Johnnie Garland, Delilah Welch and Ryker Welch; and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services were held Thursday, Oct. 30, at 2 p.m. from Harvest Missionary Church with the Rev. Glenn Arnold officiating. Music was by the Harvest Missionary Church Praise Team. Interment followed in the Yukon Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to the Yukon Cemetery Fund at 163 River Street, Ellijay, GA 30540, in memory of Mrs. Mayfield.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
