Frances Morris, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend to many, passed away peacefully on Friday, Nov. 21, 2025, at 88. Her life was a beautiful blend of warmth, kindness, and quiet joys that left a lasting imprint on everyone she met. She worked at Elliot Co. for nine years, where her dedication and kindness touched the lives of many. But it was in her home and among her loved ones that she truly shone. She had a deep love for canning and baking; her nut rolls were legendary, and no holiday was complete without them. They were made with love and remembered with every bite. A master of puzzles, Frances found joy in fitting the pieces together, just as she did in nurturing her family and friendships. Her home was a whimsical haven, filled with her beloved gnome collection that brought smiles to all who visited. An adventurer at heart, she cherished camping trips under the stars, sunny afternoons spent floating in her backyard pool, and peaceful days by the ocean. Lancaster held a special place in her heart, and she looked forward to every visit with childlike excitement. She enjoyed being able to 'get lost' for K9 Storm and the joy of being found and his reward time. Frances is survived by her devoted husband of 64 years, Jerome; her loving children, David Morris (Cami) and Kris Morris; her two cherished granddaughters, Mindy Frye (Bob) and Jackie Morris; and her adored great-granddaughter, Allison Frye. She also leaves behind a sister-in-law, Dolorse Clark; and many nieces and nephews who held her dear; as well as her loyal service dog, Rebel; and her cherished cat, Smokey. She was a proud member of Norwin Elks 2313, where she found joy and laughter playing Bar Bingo with her beloved "bingo crew," who became like family to her. She also deeply cherished Katie Poulson, who was like another daughter and held a special place in her heart. Her legacy is one of love, laughter, and the simple joys that made life beautiful. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 23, 2025, in JOHN M.
