Frances will never truly be gone because nearly ever person in Hazard and Perry County, from the very young to the very old have so very many memories of her. Personally, I cannot remember a time in my life when I did not know Frances and Ronnie and then Darlene and Phillip and Keith.
When my husband Bill moved to Hazard, he and Frances became quick friends. She never failed to come out to talk to us when we came in. My daughter, who now lives far from KY, called me to tell me Frances had passed, but that was not the only time she called me to talk about Frances.
Hilary would call me on other occasions, from 700 miles away, tell me that I needed get in the car and go to Frances, then get back in the car and bring her some of Frances food, that she just can't get that where she lives now.
No, Frances will never truly be gone and certainly she cannot be replaced. She was and is a Hazard institution. We will miss her.
To Darlene, Phillip and all, please know that while our health keeps us from being with you all during this time, you are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you.

I spent many a day with Francis as worked for her more years than I want to count. She was a good and trusted friend as well as a good employer. She had a heart of gold and treated her employees just like family, she wouldn´t ask you to do anything that she wasn´t willing to do herself. I know she in heaven walking the streets of gold and talking to all those who have gone on before. Rest now sweet friend because you didn´t rest much while you were hereon earth, because you were too busy taking care of everybody else. RIP I´ll miss you
