(Mrs. Charles B. Johnson)
Funeral services for Mrs. Frances Maude Johnson, 88, of Bossier City, will be held at Rose-Neath’s Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Dr., Shreveport, Louisiana, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. Officiating the service will be Chaplain Jeff Joyner. Interment will follow at Forest Park West. Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service.
Mrs. Johnson was born in Jefferson, TX, on May 8, 1936, to Marcus Layfette and Bessie Lou Whitfield Owen and passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025. She loved working in her yard, word search puzzles and lived her life for her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband of 52 years, Charles Buck Johnson; three sisters; and one brother.
She is survived by her son, Charles Alan Johnson and wife, Barbara; daughters, Janet Renea’ Richmond and partner, Char Dunmyer, Michelle Love Johnson Cohen and fiancé’, Brian Cubley; sister, Johnnie Faye Thompson; grandchildren, Heather Tavarez, Rebecca Umling, Matthew Johnson, Jordan Richmond, Brandon Richmond, Faithe Johnston and Emmy Whitecotton; great-grandchildren, Nolan Tavarez, Roman Richmond and Sage Richmond.
Pallbearers will be selected members of the family.
