I grew up across the street from her as a little girl, we all knew her as "Cheena" and she'd always have me come over to feed the birds. She'd take my hand and we'd do the cha cha dance as we walked across the street to her house and after feeding the birds she would give me a stella doro S cookie with a glass of milk. Cheena as I remember her was full of life! I'm very saddened to hear about her passing and I'll always cherish her being apart of my childhood memories in Pleasantville.
My condolences,
Ashley

Back " in the day" a shopping trip to White Plains always included a visit with Cheena at
Grants Department Store. Great memories and a pleasant neighbor of a lifetime.

We are so sorry for your loss. Will always remember how kind she was, and our long talks when we returned to NY for visits. Can still remember that one Easter Egg Hunt we had in your yard when Kirsten was so young, and how she would always pinch both Tony and Kirsten's cheek. Even at our last visit to NY, she still measured herself next to Tony, to see if she had grown any. May she rest in peace, and may you all find comfort in the days and weeks ahead.
