Frances "Frankie" Robinette

Frances Delores Wilhelm Robinette "Frankie" 94, of Cornelius died May 23, 2024. She was born on September 29, 1929 in Mecklenburg County to the late Frank and Blanche Wilhelm.
Frankie's true passion was her family and her Church. She served for many years at Cornelius Presbyterian and in many capacities including Elder, Sunday School teacher, Treasurer, Women of the Church and member of the church choir. Frankie was the oldest surviving member of Cornelius Presbyterian, and she attended Cornelius Presbyterian Church from childhood through adulthood. She enjoyed many hobbies and excelled at them all! She enjoyed painting, sewing and woodworking alongside with Vernon. Frankie's love for crafting extended into her years at the assisted living. Frankie was a wonderful cook and most enjoyed cooking for her family and enjoying having friends in her home. One of her most favorite times and our memories were her Fourth of July breakfast celebrations by her pool.
Survivors include daughter LaDonna Robinette, son Robin Robinette (Pam), grandchildren Shaun Williams, Brandon Williams (Christina), Stacey Burge (Brian) and Haleigh Lipford. Also, survived by six great grandchildren. Her great grandchildren are Madison, Ty, Lanah, Mia, Carter and Milleigh Grace.
She was preceded in death by her husband Vernon Robinette, infant son Joseph Lee Robinette and grandson Heath Lipford. Frankie was also proceeded in death by her parents Frank and Blanche Wilhelm.

A funeral service will be held at 3:00 Sunday, May 26 at Cornelius Presbyterian Church. Visitation will be 2-3 PM prior. Burial will follow at Bethel Presbyterian Church.
