Frances Jean Santjer, age 78, passed away peacefully on April 6, 2025.
Born on March 25, 1947, in Sunnyside, Washington, Frances lived a life marked by kindness, quiet strength, and deep devotion to her family. She was the proud mother of two sons, Eric Keeley and Chris Keeley, and also helped lovingly raise her stepchildren, David Breen and Ginger Breen. Her greatest joy came from being a grandmother to her five beloved grandchildren: Caitlin and Aedan Keeley, and Abigail, Tristan, and Roxanne Keeley.
Frances had a lifelong passion for antiques and loved collecting and displaying unique treasures. She took great pride in her collection of Depression-era glassware and also curated an eclectic mix of antique salt and pepper shakers, vintage pop bottles, and old-fashioned canning jars. Her homes were filled with these fun and quirky knickknacks, creating warm, whimsical spaces that reflected her appreciation for history and her eye for charm.
Above all, Frances deeply loved her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Della Santjer, and her brother, Del Santjer. She is survived by her sons, Eric and Chris Keeley; her stepchildren, David and Ginger Breen; her grandchildren, Caitlin, Aedan, Abigail, Tristan, and Roxanne; her sisters, Dorothy Walls and Delores Harris; and her brother, Bill Santjer. She will also be lovingly remembered by her extended family and many dear friends.
Frances was known for her Love of Family and Pets, sense of humor, her green thumb, being hard-working with a Love for Adventurous Road Trips, and a nurturing spirit. Her home was always a place of comfort, laughter, and love. Her warmth, patience, and quiet strength left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
A private memorial will be held with close family and Friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in her honor.
Frances will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of those who loved her.
