So sorry to hear about Frannie -- she was a wonderul lady. I remember well her fine service to New London Hospital, her great work for John Ohler, and the wonderful Christmas bread that was such a treat to receive each year. She even taught me to spell "pursue" correctly!

Dear Susan, Patsy, Lidsay, and Sidney,

My thoughts are with you.

I remember when I was 4 or 5 years old. I had preschool or Kindergarten in the basement of the Sawyer home. During recess I was being chased by a young man. I tripped and fell on the concrete and got a piece of concrete in my forehead. I remember how lovingly she took care of me.

The many years I was friends with Patsy. And the fun we had jumping in the Hay at the Knowlton Farm. Frannie, will be missed by so many.

May God be with you and your family as you travel.

Lots of Love, Karen

A 2nd Mom to many of us...she'll truly be missed. There aren't many who would open their homes, heart and cookie jar to so many! I hope she realized how much she meant to us.

My sympathies to Susie, Lindsey, Patsy and Dids and your families. Your Mom was a dear lady and will be missed. My Mom adored Franny and on her behalf I thank Franny for taking such good care of her at Woodcrest and for the many, many years of friendship and fun with the Sawyer family. Love, Pam
