Frances (Faye) Still

Frances (Faye) Still went to her eternal resting place on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at her daughter's home in Chickasha, OK at the age of 91. She was born on October 10, 1934 in Nebo, Kentucky to Arthur and Della Mae (Scott) Forker.

Funeral service for Faye Still will be held on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Ninnekah, OK. Interment will be at the Ninnekah Cemetery under the direction of Sevier Funeral Home.

Faye attended school in Nebo, KY until the 11th grade. She met and married the love of her life Bill Still in 1952 during his time in the service. They were married for 43 years. From that union came 5 children, Carolyn, Randy, Mike, Rhonda and Tonya.

All of her family lived in Kentucky and going to visit them was the family vacation. Faye was the fourth child of 6 brothers and sisters, and they all preceded her in death.

She and her husband co-owned, Bill Still and Sons Construction Co for several years and they also had Still's Café in Ninnekah, OK. Her final employment was as a sales associate at Walmart where she worked for 20 years as the voice on the phone in the Chickasha Walmart. She retired in 2011. She went on several bus trips with different Senior Groups including the Ninnekah First Baptist Church where she has been a member of for many years.

Faye is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Bill M. Still on December 29, 1995; her parents, Arthur and Della Forker; her three brothers: Edmond, Lois, and Gene; her two sisters, Virginia and Sue; her half-sister, Laura Bell Loghair; one grandson, Jason Howard, on November 11, 1993; and her son-in-law, Larry Howard on December 7, 2017.

Faye is survived by her 5 children: Carolyn Howard McGruder and husband Jim, Randy Still and wife Denetta, Mike "Scooter" Still and wife Donna, Rhonda Wallis and husband Greg, Tonya Gwin Lehew and husband Chester; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
