Frances Taylor-Watson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Paradise Memorial Funeral Home - Miami on Jan. 2, 2026.
Born on September 30, 1956, in Miami, Florida, Frances Kuturach Taylor was the eldest daughter of Aljanar Taylor and Willie Lou, and from an early age carried the strength, compassion, and leadership that would define her life.

Frances was a woman of deep kindness and quiet generosity. An avid crocheter, she spent countless hours creating handmade beanies, lovingly donating them to NICU babies at several local hospitals throughout Pinellas County. Each stitch reflected her nurturing spirit and her desire to bring comfort to others, especially the most vulnerable.

A devoted mother, loving partner, cherished sister, and treasured friend, Frances will be remembered for her unwavering love, gentle wisdom, and warm presence. She had a way of making those around her feel seen, supported, and deeply cared for. Her laughter, creativity, and selfless heart leave an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Frances Kuturach Taylor-Watson peacefully ascended into Heaven on Monday, December 22, 2025. She is lovingly survived by her four children: Kwanza Taylor Watson, Renae Watson, Johnae Watson, and Teia Watson; her life partner, Bernard Harper and their fur baby Cody; her stepdaughters, Tessenei Watson-Preston and Eve Watson; her daughter-in-law, Andrea Ewing-Watson; her beloved daughter-in-love, Nikki Washington; her cherished grandchildren, Gabriel Walker, and Aidan-Adeem Walker; her siblings, Toni Taylor, and Aljanar "Bob" Taylor; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and dear friends who will continue to honor her memory.

Though she has transitioned from this life, Frances's love, legacy of service, and the beauty she brought into the world will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.
